Italian Assoc. of Lingual Orthodontics 1996-1998; Past President of E.S.L.O. European Society of Lingual Orthodontics 2004-2005; Dr. Stefano Velo is an Experienced, Well-Respected, World Leader in Lingual Orthodontics, Non-Compliance Treatment, and Skeletal Anchorage since 1999.
Dr. Velo received his Degree In Medicine, University of Padova, Italy 1983 Specialty In Dentisty, University of Verona, Italy 1987 and Specialty In Orthodontics, University of Ferrara, Italy 1999; Dr. Velo has lectured around the world on the use of TAD’s in clinical orthodontics including, but not limited to, Italy, Germany, Egypt, Belgrade, Spain, Great Britain, Russia, Japan, Canada, United States and Korea. Dr. Velo has been published in distinguished orthodontic journals and periodicals around the world.
Dr. Velo Co-engineered the development of the M.A.S. ™ Miniscrew Anchorage System which has been widely used in Europe, Great Britain, Canada, and Korea since 2003, and now recently in the United States.

Doctor in Dental Medicine at University of Chieti, School of Dentistry 1988; Preceptorship program in Orthodontics at UCLA 1989; Master in Oral Biology at UCLA 1989-1990; Certificate in Orthodontics, Eastman Dental Center –Rochester, NY 1993; Certificate In Orthodontics, University of Ferrara, School Of Dentistry 1999; Adjunct Professor, University of Ferrara, Dept. of Orthodontics from 1999 to present. She was awarded the Premio SIDO in 2000 from the Italian Association of Orthodontics. Author of different publications and personal communications during national and international seminars and conferences.

Dr. Aldo Carano - Had a degree in Dentistry from the University of Bari, Italy, his Master degree in Orthodontics from Washington University of St, Louis MO, USA and his Specialty in Orthodontics from the University of Ferrara, Italy. He has been an Associate Researcher in the Department of Pathology at Washington University Medical Center. Presently Dr. Carano is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara, Italy and Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Advanced Dental Education at St. Louis University. He was awarded the first Premio SIDO in 1991 from the Italian Assocation of Orthodontics. Dr. Carano is author of more than 100 publications on national and international journals and is speaker in national and international conferences on different subjects of Orthodontics. He was Past-President of the Italian Association of Lingual Orthodontics, Treasurer of the Federatio Europea Orthodontics and Past Vice-President of the Italian Association of Orthodontics. He was in private practice in Taranto and Bari, Italy.
